Fossil of the Future is artist Olga Buneeva’s reflection on time as a process of accumulation and change. Each work presents itself as a testimony from a possible future and, at the same time, as a trace of the present. Ceramics — earth transformed by fire — become the medium through which this condition is made visible: a material that preserves the past, records the present and offers a glimpse of forms yet to emerge.
