fannidada Artistic duo

Torino 2009

fannidada (Fanni Iseppon & Davide Giaccone) live and work in Turin, where they develop an artistic practice marked by constant transformation and cross-disciplinary exploration. Their research originated in photography and gradually expanded into video and video installation, incorporating elements of performance and theatre that deepen the experiential and narrative dimensions of their work.

At the core of their practice lies the development of a distinctive image-processing technique they define as “Analogical Metamorphoses”: an approach that treats the visual as a living matter, capable of evolving, stratifying, and generating new perceptual and semantic layers. Within this framework, the boundary between analog and digital becomes porous, giving rise to a hybrid language attentive to time, memory, and transformation.

Key formative experiences include a film course at the Scuola Holden in Turin and participation in the educational program of PAV – Parco Arte Vivente, both of which have contributed to shaping their interdisciplinary and experimental approach.

Between 2013 and 2016, in their Turin-based studio, they conceived and curated “Davanti a un fiume in piena”, a series of open discussions and encounters that brought together artists, curators, critics, art historians, architects, engineers, philosophers, and poets. The project became a space for collective reflection, fostering dialogue across disciplines and perspectives.
